I would have thought that reasonable for a trio of 3 month olds, you are barely recouping your feed bill. I hate people that lower the price just to resell them at higher cost.

Wades... much smaller... some strains really much smaller... Davis birds mature quickly as a basic rule... Some Wades can take a LLLLONNNGG time.

The price of the bird is just the right price when both parties are happy. Whatever the dollar amount is... someone else will be delighted to buy for that price... Others won't buy it less it is next to free... One has to be careful not to undercut themselves in the marketplace as well. Too low a price and they will assume the quality is less.

Will this 13 week old pullet produce the same plumage pullets like her even if it is paired with a true Black Copper Marans rooster? I would like to keep her for dark brown egg production like the one she was hatched from. But if I decide to have her eggs hatched, I am wondering if some of her babies will not inherit her color and produce pullets with darker feathers and with just coppering around the neck instead. Is this possible?

This pullet's juvenile autosomal barred plumage indicates she has the pattern gene, this gene is not found in any variety of Marans. If mated to a Black Coper male her chicks will carry this unwanted gene.
As she has the pattern gene & such dark shanks it indicates an outcross.

Could have been crossed with a Partridge Pendesenca would be my guess.
They are a pencilled, dark shanked, dark egg breed.
