I thought I must have been being silly.

I love your chicken shed arrangement......that's exactly what I'd like.

Do you have them hatch from the egg boxes?​

I love that chicken coop too...it's actually more like an aviary with an outdoor run attached and the coop is inside the aviary. There are some things that bug me about it, like how it isn't completely roofed (I covered it with tarps for the Winter) and the coop portion of it is a bit lacking for roost space. What I really love about it is that it was built with steel posts and beams and a deep concrete footing around the perimeter, so there'll be no intruders here.

Finally got a couple photos of my new additions.
A trio of blue copper chicks, hopefully to be my starter stock.

I also have 2 roos/2 pullets of Black Copper chicks that are about 3 weeks younger than these guys in the pictures. I am sure I will have some pic of them soon.

That's a beautiful trio of blues. How old are they in those photos?

My BCMs are like, I dunno, 8 weeks old now...shoot, maybe 10 weeks, and I still can't tell the boys from the girls.

I got some walkthrough pics of that big chicken coop/aviary I'll hafta post up soon. I took them so that I could make a thread seeking advice on a couple of things that I have issues with.

But right now, I've got 3 tons of gravel that needs to be moved from Point A to Point B.
