I have read so many post and really enjoy learning all the info.
I just want to make sure once again, what should we be breeding for first in the Roos. Is it first--body type?
Then what goes next? Comb or eye color or feather color,
Feathering on feet are last right because that is fairly easy to obtain?
I am just trying to narrow the 4 Roos down and each one has good points and bad points.
Oh, and can you tell me once again, when incubating do I raise the humidity or lower it a little. I know the shells are very hard and the moisture doesn't evaporate as much as with the average egg right?
So wouldn't that mean a lower humidity so that they don't drown? Then higher a little at lockdown? If I am wrong, please set me straight.

no no no... it has nothing to do with humidity, and everything to do with the chicken dance... you have to do it for 3 hours straight at the begining of lockdown, then for 10 minutes every hour untill all fuzzy butts are dry....

One of my black/copper marans just started laying, she's 24 weeks old.
To me, it seems like a pretty big one - 75g.
Is it normal for size for a pullet?
