thanks for the complaments but i was only responcable for hatching them i think the davis roo is turning out better because of his size and comb and has ok leg feathering
but the budy henery roo has more leg feathering wich i do like ... sa long as they dont fight il keep the two....... i do not have any first generation hens (eggs directly from )davis lines but i have ebay hen i hatched sopposed to come from her that looks good and i have two hens hatched stright from budy henery .... thanks again for the kind words

Gosh, I wish mine would start laying again. I had to buy 2 dozen store bought eggs over the Thanksgiving holiday just to be able to cook. I was only able to get two eggs out of my girls because of molting. I have hope though, they're starting to look really nice and fluffy again.
I just got a dozen Wheaten eggs from Fitz Farms though, and I put them in the incubator Thankgiving morning. Wish me luck! I only have one Wheaten female for my Blue Wheaten boy, so I hope it's a good hatch....with mostly pullets! (Don't we all wish for that!)
