You have to have had a b/bl/splash situation here.... two BC's do not make a blue.... Possible naughty roo somewhere.... (or naughty hen... they can be pretty sneaky) Little cutie pie roo though!!!

What the heck are you doing up so early??? Peeps perhaps.. ha ha.. That little peeping can wake ya from the dead can't it... ha ha. I have been up since 3... I just have to look at them!!! I have another hatch due in about a week... The eggies from it are my darkest ever!!! I am really excited for this hatch... My record keeping was really good here... I am getting better at this as I go...

I can't stand it... I am like a hoarder when it comes to the little dark eggies..

Yes Ma'am...but it wasn't the little peepers that woke me up. lol it was my DH that nudged me to tell me that he heard babies.

3 Bl-Coppers and 1 Black Copper so far.

I figured since I royally messed up that "suppose to be hatch" on 3-18 with the wrong thermometer fiasco and had to toss all those pretty eggs...that I am going to try again though I don't think that I will set as many as I did that time.

Com' on whose in?

Here are my final, final stats. hee. And Pinkhick, I posted this to your festivus thread

I saved eggs for 3 weeks. Ditched 17 and set 19 of the darkest ones.
Humidity was 45% for incubation and 58% for lock down
Hatched 14 out of 19

Some of the darkest eggs hatched last and I bumped the humidity up a point to help these two out

I got 80% Black Copper Phenotype and 20% Wheaten, which was not unexpected (not sure what I will do with the wheaties, but they sure are beautiful chicks)

5 eggs are left in there, 2 of them are very dark

I will probably leave them in there until tomorrow, but I think this is it. One of them was rolling around last night but no movement this morning.

Correction, I got 90% Black Copper 10% Wheaten, 4 of the 5 that didn't hatch were fully formed Black coppers.
