I would love to see everyone's Golden Cuckoos. I have 3 males and 2 females. Mine are babies except one male roo (Cuckoo Baby) who is a light colored GC and close to 6 mos old now, I think.
geebs: I have heard that mineral or vegetable oil rubbed around and a little ways into the vent helps it pass. I have also heard some people will feed them some bread soaked in vegetable oil. I haven't encountered that yet. The worst I've had in that dept. was a shelled egg that was inside of a shell-less egg if that makes any sense lol but that's the best way that I can describe it. Here's a picture of it. I posted about it and they wanted me to egg topsy it lol. It was a marans egg here is what it looked like and you don't wanna know the rest of the story LOL.
