Marans Thread for Posting Pics of Your Eggs, Chicks and Chickens

I thought maybe you guys could help?
Okay, I have two really strange Cuckoo Marans, I think they are gender confused, and my husband is not helping me any by insisting they are one thing or another. Here are pics, cause I need a few more opinions, and I'll be keeping them for a bit more, then need to rehome them when they get older. They are very lanky, both of them.

First one has long tail feathers, but an itty bitty comb and wattles.

Second one is darker, but has huge comb and wattles, but a stockier body and less of a tail. I am soooo confused.

Both roos, just maturing differently?

And the third isnt even a full cuckoo marans, its a Cuckoo Marans father, White Leghorn mother, could it still be a hen???
Its a great bird, and my leghorns have full combs and wattles, so how can I tell??

One of my little rooster boys started crowing for the first time this morning! Ok, so for all of you who have had roosters for years, and don't find this cute and amusing any more, just humor me here because these are my first roosters. They are still in the house at night and I was on the phone this morning and I heard this crackly, weak sort of ehrrr sound coming from the box they are in. I guess he had to ramp up to it because he made that noise about 5 times before he actually launched a full fledged crowing sound. I walked over to the box and all three of my roosters were just standing there looking up at me so I don't know who it was. hee. Very cute.

Drom, The middle one is rooster as he has saddle feathers. The first one might be starting to get saddle feathers, so it may be roo too, but the comb sure looks pullet....? The third one, not sure about, but leaning toward roo. It is neat looking.
