All the pics I've seen people post of Cuckoos with yellow legs were hatchery birds. Can't recall which hatcheries they were.
I also saw a picture of a Golden Campine with green legs that was from a hatchery.


Since the hatcheries are collecting about 2 bucks a bird, I'm guessing they aren't real worried if their if their BRs got mixed up at some point with their Cuckoo Marans and a few down the line throw yellow skin.

That's awesome! I just loaded some of today's pics. None of the copper blacks, but my favorite rooster, Maurice, a hatchery cuckoo Marans, was looking especially handsome today. OK, so maybe he's not that handsome, and he has a weird wavy comb. But he's still my favorite. Talk about personality!

I know its kind of a personal question, but do any of you guys give your chickens a kiss? Cause I do sometimes? Is that so wrong?
