We're Marcel en Nikki from the Netherlands.
We do not have chickens, but we do have quails.

Quails, 3 years ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
15

(3) What breeds do you have?
Japanese Quails

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They're fun to watch. Cozy little creatures.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Dancing, reading, meditate, cook

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
we're married for 18.5 years. Got 7 persian cats, 23 budgies, 8 other birds, a rabbit and 3 fish.
Both self employed.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Aye. Last year, we had 8. 1 couple started to breed. Oh boy, and there they all went...
We wanted to keep it at 1 lay per couple, but they managed to get 2 lays. So that's how we ended up with 23 budgies. Bought them a new home in our garden and they love it!
