well so far 11 hatched, 2 more pipped, then of course my ONE blue egg that made it to lockdown is doing nothing......

Day 19 in one hour….lol
I keep looking at the eggs analyzing every spot. So begins the obsessive countdown.

Thanks. I don't have luck with my flock and blue eggs (or green for that matter). I have an EE that lays such light blue it looks white most times, have 2 project Cochins that had a chance of green eggs, they lay brown, My OE lays brown eggs, my cream legbar is 11 mo and hasn't even laid yet....... Got 3 blue eggs, 1 didn't develop, 1 quit around day 16?, and now one that is doing nothing and when I peeked earlier I saw no movement so not very hopeful.........

One of my goals was to have colourful egg layers. Last hatch none of my EE or marans made it. This time I have 2 marans 1 EE and 1 Ameraucana so hopeful. 3 more Ameraucana and 3 more marans coming I. My next shipped eggs in April.

Maybe you need to do an all colourful egg egg hatch!

I think I do!!!!!! I am going to put a couple of my EE's teal eggs (the only really colorful one) in with my next batch and hope. And I am working on a deal to either trade eggs or chicks with someone and get a couple more CCL and she wants some of my Cochins.

That’s how I was last time - like Christmas! Then had a chick ICU running the whole weekend after for one chick that didn’t make it. Now with chicks 4 weeks inside I’m counting the days until they can be out. I was ‘cocky’ (lol) thinking it wouldn’t bother me a bit having them inside longer. I was wrong haha

I have three midnight hatchers peeping away…go to sleep! There’s a SLW/Bresse baby this time, should be cute once it fluffs up by morning.
