March 21 or so hatching

I just found this thread! I have babies due to hatch today! I'm super worried that they won't hatch, but they are rocking around in there, so I'm hopeful! This is my first hatch and I'm trying to do everything right, but my temps were too low for the first few day holy cow! Of a faulty thermometer. I started using a meat thermometer and not I have kept temps steady for the last 18-19 days. So mine may hatch just a touch late.

I started with 10 eggs, I have 7 left that were moving and looking good when I candled on day 18. Fingers crossed!

Finally my two big pippers hatched out! From what I can see, 17 others have pipped!

5 out, 6 zipping and I can't count all the pips! Kinda worried because none of the silkies have pipped yet.

My chicks never seem to hatch all at once. :/ I have two little Silkies bopping around and now the bator has gone quiet. I wish they'd all pick a day and get on with it. The two simultaneous pips had me hoping.

I've got 11 out now including the one who pipped the wrong end yesterday. He finally made it out without needing assistance!

No pipping or anything today. I have rocking eggs and I heard a few peeps from inside the egg. But I expected them to be a day or two late since temps were off to start. I'm am not so patiently waiting.

Any guesses as to what is dominant in this chick? I just noticed the dark speckled wing feathers today. I was told by the farmer from whom we got the eggs that they were a mix or RIR crosses, Leghorn and Americauna.

Ahhh. I'm going crazy!! My babies are still inside. No pips. But they are
Moving all around. I knew they would be late, but it is still driving me nuts.
