Oh my goodness! ADORABLE! I want mine to come now! I didn't know you were doing EE x SLW! I am hoping that the majority of mine are EE x SLW. I just love the beardies they have!

Awesome pictures! And great job with Flower!!! love the name.
My 5 yr old daughter named the one that hatched early this am Sunny - "bc she came out with the sun!"
Letting the broody hen raise them is so much less work - BUT I'm not bonding with the little fluffs and getting to know their personalities like I would if they were in my care. It's not a bad trade-off. Seeing your pics made me realize that my only pics of ours are super quick ones when we pull her off the nest - which we've only done 3 times since the hatch!
I still have 3 eggs that haven't hatched. I tried to candle them today and the shells are so dark, or they are so full, I can't see a thing! They don't smell badly. Today is day 22 - how long do I leave them under her?

I would leave them under her for three more days. Have you tried float testing them?
YAY, congratulations everyone!![]()
My last one to hatch (EE x EE) took very long - 2 full days after pipping. She ended up needing help even though I had her wrapped in a wet paper towel. She had some issues with her legs being stuck way out in front of her.
We did physical therapy by holding her legs in place for 20 mins every hour....
Now she can stand and walk on her own. We named her Flower because she was the late bloomer.
The other EE x EE
This is the first born, EE x SGD. We named her Nine because she had 5 toes on one foot and 4 on the other.
These are the EE x SLW. I'm thinking they're going to be golden laced?
And these are the EE x Cuckoo Marans
