March 21 or so hatching

No but thought doing that. Wasn't sure if a float test works the same for viability of chick as it does for eating purposes (if that makes sense). What temp water so as not to cool them? I assume do it as quickly as possible considering the humidity matters and this would be 100%!

Yep, strange, isn't it? Just make certain that there are no cracks/pips in the eggs otherwise they would drown. You would want the waster to be at about 100 degrees so that it's the same temp as the egg. If it floats, it's a dud if it's towards the bottom with air cell above water and rocking it's alive. you would have to make sure you let the water have time to settle from sitting the eggs in. If any movement at all I would consider them alive. Hope this helps!

YAY, congratulations everyone! :clap My last one to hatch (EE x EE) took very long - 2 full days after pipping. She ended up needing help even though I had her wrapped in a wet paper towel. She had some issues with her legs being stuck way out in front of her. We did physical therapy by holding her legs in place for 20 mins every hour.... Now she can stand and walk on her own. We named her Flower because she was the late bloomer. The other EE x EE This is the first born, EE x SGD. We named her Nine because she had 5 toes on one foot and 4 on the other. These are the EE x SLW. I'm thinking they're going to be golden laced? And these are the EE x Cuckoo Marans
Super cute little ones

What ways to you guys use to try and sex your chicks? Or do you just wait and see when they are adults. I have tried using the wing feathers, with that is seems in have mostly pullets but that is probably wishful thinking.
