I have a blue silkie that went broody, so I stuck 2 silkie eggs and 1 EE egg under her and she's been sitting since March 8th. Last night I candled the 2 silkie eggs and saw a round dark mass in each. When I rotated the eggs so the dark mass was on the bottom you can see the dark mass would come up to the top of the egg. The EE egg I couldn't see anything in that (my first time hatching and the shell is dark). Going to candle again this evening. Any suggestions for a newbie hatcher?
