Hi Clairabean,

Sorry if I went a little overboard on the candy seems like Easter is about candy and has always been. Trying to get my granddaughter fun non food stuff for her basket! I know the scarf is a little skimpy for the snow but when spring comes around maybe..... I bet you have beautiful green once it melts!?

Remember I said earlier I knew I hadnt found everything? Well guess what I found today! LOL. But I replaced that with the fountain. Glad to see everything made it to you alright. Especially the chocolate, I was worried it might melt having to come all the way across the country and all LOL. SO GLAD you enjoyed it. Oh and I got the chicken timer at Michaels

Those are Buckeye candy! Ohio is the "Buckeye" state-named for a tree that produces poisonous nuts that look like this:
23598_buckeye.jpg

The recipe is very easy:

Buckeyes

1 lb. butter, softened
2 lbs. peanut butter
2-3 lbs. powdered sugar
1-2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. milk chocolate chips or bars
Mix all together until smooth and creamy. Shape into walnut-sized balls and freeze in a single layer overnight (or until hard). Melt chocolate for 30 seconds at a time, stirring well after each, until melted and smooth. Dip balls by toothpicks until partially covered, leaving a small, round, un-dipped area at the top.
These keep well for months in the freezer!
