They are in now-no problem! I'll candle on Monday 3/26. All good!

I got my eggs from Chookschick today.. PO took their sweet time but they are all intact.. now if I could figure out what the secret codes on them mean..

Mahonri posted the same thing on the Easter hatch thread, Chookschick deciphered it for him, I just don't remember what page that was on...

13 of the 30 sent to me are going into lockdown shortly. Almost 50%. Actually it would be over that since 9 eggs were damaged in shipping. So I am happy with the little travelers that have made it this far. Fingers crossed for them and everyone else's eggs.

Will find out tonight how they are doing when I candle before going into lockdown. When I candled earlier, 5 out of 6 were clear

6/7 NH I got from Lotsapaint hatched 3/31
4/6 Molted Cochin & 2/2 Showgirls heading to lock down today.

I think that is pretty darn good.

8 out of 12 Icelandics are going into lockdown.
The eggs I got from Jim
1 Langshan - pulled
1 Ameraucana going into lockdown
6 Iowa Blue - one broken in transit, 3 pulled, 2 going into lockdown

So I'm locking down 11 of the 20 eggs that were shipped to me, not too bad for shipped eggs.
