March Egg Swap . . . .Post pics of your hatches!!!!!

I had more hatch out yesterday while I was at work. 1 I was trying to help but it still didn't make it and 1 had started zipping but it was so gunky inside the egg it couldn't get out, 1 more hatched fine and 1 other I helped out and it made it.

On another note, the quail I got from the egg chain are hatching. I have 11 so far.

They are Barred Rocks that hatched late and I thought they were still too weak to go with the rest of the chicks that hatched.
One of the quail I don't think will make it. The yolk didn't absorb. I will know when I get home I suppose.

Okay, sorry it took so long for pics. I have a ton of things hatching and chores.

Here are the pics of the 2 Standard Cochins hatched from Pidgey104's eggs. I am hoping they are a pair because the one is smaller than the other one.

I had 11 chicken eggs that went into lockdown from pdsavage on Sunday but the little over achievers decided to come out a little early. I have 10 chicks from 11 eggs! The last one internally pipped but didn't make it out of the shell. I will get pictures to post a little later. Two are buff colored, one is yellow and the rest are dark colored. I have two bonus duck eggs that go into lockdown next Sunday! They are growing nicely.

I hope they hatch out well for you!

I actually had 3 of the olive eggs in the incubator and had 2 hatch, the third was a quitter.

Two turkey eggs went into lockdown but I think one was a quitter. I also put the olive eggs and extras into lockdown. Really cool that they went into lockdown together. Will post when I know what hatches. Today is day 19. So still some time.

Oh so sorry.

I haven't had anything get my chickens in over 4 yrs now. My dogs are great guard dogs.
