Just got back from the P.O. sumatra sent me 9 goose eggs and 3 turkey eggs...2 goose eggs and 1 turkey egg were totally smashed and another goose egg was dented. I had to clean most of the other goose eggs but the 2 other turkey eggs looked okay. Surprisingly, the box didn't look damaged at all and none of the intact goose eggs' air cells look 'broken', so there is still some hope. I can't see in the turkey eggs to tell if their air cells are okay.

I'm going to set them as soon as I'm done feeding critters. Since I had to clean them I'd rather they not stay out too long.

All my eggs made it safe and sound! Thirteen beautiful eggs! Finally some olives I hope they all hatch. My darn fiance goes well what if you only hatch roos then what do you do?

I swear if he jinxes me he's living with the chickies. I will candle tonight to see how the air cells made the trip. I think the post office screwed up in the sending though cause somehow they went all the way south to Florida then got sent back up here to new York.

I got 8 beautiful eggs from PrettyPoultry today. SLW - Silver Laced Wyandottes and BLRW Blue Laced Red Wyandottes I am guessing.

My bad! I murdered Shelley's eggs! I packed them in too tight, I think. They need a little room to move. I feel so bad! Poor eggs! and poor lady who has to clean them up. . . I've had to do that before; it is no fun.
