You were right! It is staying steady without going up to the temperature it is set onI worried about that for a long time too, but it never does get up to what you set it at. Just to be safe, make sure that you are around to keep an eye on it. don't set it to 104 then go to work! Plus, If you have ever put a thermometer in a water wiggler, you know that it takes HOURS for an egg to get to the same temp as the incubator. I'm trying that for the first time right now and I had the incubator up to 112 for over an hour and my wiggler was still at 99.9 (no eggs in there of course.)
Good luck! I have tried two LG, but took them both back due to not being able to get it calibrated. I have one Hovabater and another on the way.I was up until 2am and finally got this LG holding at 101 on the top of the eggs, 100 on the floor. If anyone gets one of the DO NOT go by the digital readings! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I finally have it worked out so I can add my 15+ bantam Orp eggs that are on the way. My eggs in the Hovabator are on day 3, I can't wait to candle.....come on day 7!

I know antyler! I love my Hovabater so far.Good luck! I have tried two LG, but took them both back due to not being able to get it calibrated. I have one Hovabater and another on the way.
