First time hatches can be tough.

I woke up to no power this morning, the incubators got down to the high eighties. DH says it was off for an hour or so

I think for the Easter hatch a long I will get eggs from Trader Joes!

Had to toss a total of 5 Ancona eggs. But the other 4 are doing well and all 8 Cayuga eggs have movement!

I hatched out twenty of 29 Friday and Saturday. I had to help two that were stuck but they made it, I was rally scared they wouldn't but everyone is doing well.

I just loaded four 1/4 Silver-laced Wayandotte 3/4 Polish/Sizzle/Unknown mix chicken eggs in the incubator this morning! I am starting a breeding project! They are due March 5th!

Have any of the babies hatched

I hatched silkies, cochin and done of my own backyard mixes. I have some interesting ones! I think this one is apolish silkie cross.
