No. If you look in the second pic you can see the bottom ledge(it is blurry)
Oh OK, got it.....I'm all about chicken spy cameras, you got me all excited with the possibility of an incubator cam....LOL....don't judge me....

My tiny little Silkie passed away yesterday. I wasn't expecting it to survive, but its still sad. So, now I'm left with a single chick in the brooder. I STILL have one egg in my incubator. It was supposed to hatch 2 days ago! I candles it today to see if it was still alive, and it is, but it still looks to be a day or two away from hatching! And my broody only has one fertile egg under her (the rest I gave her were infertile). I'm :fl that I can get at least one more chick to hatch. My single chick is doing okay in the brooder, its fairly quiet, but occasionally it'll go into a peeping fit. It needs a friend :/

its day 21 for us! so far we have 1 all unzipped and working its way out and one external pip hopefully the others are not far behind! :D so hard not to just stand there and watch them lol :D

I know, right?? It's so hard to tear yourself away from the bator on hatch day!!

AAAAAWWWWW......so sorry......I hope another one hatches, can you get the little one a friend at the feed store if no other chicks hatch?

If nothing else hatches, I am prepared to go to the feed store and buy a friend. I timed hatch day with the delivery of day old chicks at my local feed store......that is how confident I am with hatching...NOT....LOL

I could get more chicks at the feed store, but I'm holding out hope that I can just hatch one myself. If I go the feed store route, I have to buy 6 (their minimum). I have 20 chicks and 3 ducklings in my outside brooder and 20 more chicks and 4 ducklings coming in May, so I don't really want to have to buy 6 more :p

Wow, I've never heard of a minimum purchase number on chicks at a feed store!!!!!! I understand why you would not want to go that route.
