kbarnes- I have 2 LGs, an older model and a newer digital model. I've enjoyed them, and my older bator has hatched quite a few eggs. I have great hatches, and I have horrible hatches (but the bad ones are always because I've done something wrong). They're not a set it and forget incubator, but for the money I can't complain about them. Good luck with your hatch, you've got a good variety of breeds

I am a first timer and soooo excited and nervous at the same time. I have been playing with my new incubator for two days, I know I will be sitting there staring at it for three weeks. It is a forced air with an egg turner, I got the temp stable at 100, it kicks off and goes down to 99.2 before kicking back on. My egg turner that came with it was broke, incubator warehouse is sending a new motor, If I set the eggs before the motor gets here, is it ok to add it after I already start the eggs? Do I have to worry about it raising the temp too much, or lowering it when I first put it in because it is not warmed up? Sorry about all the questions! I have been reading the BYC forums for days now, so much good information! I look forward to following everyone's adventure!
