My dad thinks their ugly I myself I think they are adorable. I wanted to get some muskovies but my dad protested

Hmmm well they are really sweet so even if they are ugly they make up for it with their sweet attitude try to convince your dad how awesome they are I would only get one male though because the females pip loudly & if you get two males they will mate with one another & they think they are gorgeous I have some pictures of mine if you would like to see? Also California Hatchery sells sexed muscovy ducklings

That's cool. I've tried to convince him he won't give in. I talked him into getting a ferret once but that was one time

Ugh, my power was out for 12+ hours. It just came back on a little bit ago :/ Not sure how my eggs are doing, I guess I'll try to candle them tomorrow to see what's up with them.

That's happened to me a few times. Fortunetly the eggs were only a day into in to incubation.

My DH is getting ready to leave for VA. I can't wait for him to come back with my duck eggs!

Curious to know where in VA your DH is going.... I am actually interested in a couple duck eggs to hatch. I think my two ducks would be happier in the winter months with some more friends.
