congrats, lisal124! Cute chickie! By the way..how accurate is that hygrometer? I just picked one up from WallyWorld for 6.95. I have yet to put a battery in it and test it out. I assume it's pretty accurate, as I see lots of folks use one, and they sell the same exact model in chicken supply stores online.
Again, congrats on your hatch! Hope you get a lot of pullets!!

Well...no more chicks yet. The little pip from this morning hasn't done anything else. My sweet little chick that hatched this morning comes to the window and chirps at me when I look in..I think she's lonely! I want to hold her sooo bad...but I'm being good and keeping my hands away!

I'm waiting on my serama eggs to hatch (they've been in lockdown since Sunday night), and I'm getting so impatient! They're on day twenty, and not a pip! I did hear peeping and see one of the eggs moving, though. I'm beginning to think the whole thing about seramas hatching in nineteen days might not always be true.

Come on, chickies! I'm waiting for you!

Thank you! It is so exciting! I didn't test the hygrometer..not sure how..but I can say that it seemed sensitive to humidity changes. My problem is that I bought 3 and used all 3. The humidity reading was either the same or very close. The temperature reading however seemed slower to change and depending on the placement in the incubator, had 3-4 degree differences...but this could be due to cold/hot spots in the bator. I took some wonderful advice and ignored all but the one in the middle. As this is my first hatch, this seemed the simplest for me.

I had my March hatch this past weekend. Here are the little one's, they are all top hats.

These next two are siblings, but something is up with the feathering of the one little one, not quite sure what the deal is. I just tell myself to remember the story of the ugly duckling. Other then the feathering the chick is healthy and happy.

These were all hatched from egg's I received from ChickenZoo.
