I moved one silkie egg to the hatcher yesterday afteroon. The rest are due the 19th, I think.

Whoo hooo! As of this morning I have:

1 baby hatched
4 eggs zipping
16 pipps
4 eggs not pipped yet

They arent due until tomorrow so guess I have a bunch of early birds!! I cant wait to check on them at lunch! I really need a webcam!!

got 50 quail due in a week and a half... one chicken egg is rolling, 2 more are set and I have about 6 or 7 ready to go in in a few days, gathering more every day

If it can't get up then it's balance might be off (or something) & I have used a crumpled up washcloth or handtowel in a corner of the container, put the chick into one of the nooks & cranies/holes; this will make the chick feel cozy in the towel & give it a little support to not fall or stretch backwards until it gets stronger on it's feet. Looks like some fun little chicks.

I'm going to go crazy here! Good thing I have to go to class, otherwise I'd just be sitting by the 'bator all day staring, and swear that three millennia had passed.
