I have a report that I have 3 pips and lots of rockin' going on in the bator! I am so excited to go and see! The ones under the hen are out and a few days old 6 of the 7 hatched. I will post pics when I go to see them this week. Mine are also "barnyard specials" but with my new laying flock so I will have different kinds than last year!

Came home from a date last night to find the first pip! Came home from church today to find the first chick and second pip

I woke up this morning to 2 little chicks, by the time I had my java and showered for work another two had hatched. Imagine my surprise to find 12 chicks and 5 pips. They are so dang cute. The early bird is a very pretty splash ameracauna looks too pretty and calm to be a roo but who knows I will post pics when the hatch is complete and fluffed up. These are my first lil ones since the neighbor's dog 2 years ago killed my birds and so excited to have chicks again.

Save the Favs, when will you start your April hatching thread....I only got 6 from my first set, but I am not giving up yet. I am ready to start again....maybe this week like Tuesday or Wednesday morning...I will try it agian, hopefully with a better hatch rate this time.
