Oops! Yes, Ameraucanas. I've got 2 Ameraucana/Faverolles bantam crosses & have often wondered if it's the Ameraucana in them that makes them so comical/funny; they are real characters & a pretty Wheaton color. Have never had Marans, have only seen pics; they are lovely. Best wishes for a great hatch on those well anticipated eggs, will watch for your post. Those 2 color of eggs are a challenge to candle, but well worth it.

I' m getting excited, less than 1 week before the chicks hatch!

I HAVE A MARANS!!!

I checked just before bed (11:30) then at 2:30 AM, then at 4:30 AM, then at 6:30 AM and finally, I found a fourth chick in there, plus quite a few other Marans eggs have pipped. Soooo happy.
