keep it moist, don't remove anymore shell, it looks like the inner membrane is still attached.i had one like this when I went to bed, it was hatched in the morning when I woke up but had two pieces of membrane stuck to its fluff.

It should be as long as you haven't opened the incubator.  I did that and it caused some of my chicks to get shrink wrapped.

I had to open it briefly to put another paper towel in. I was struggling to keep the humidity greater than 60% otherwise it hasn't been touched. I guess time will tell.

I can't help you there, I currently am collecting another batch. Up to 21 so far!

This is the longest Night at work ever! UGH!

Just woke up and the topless baby was still in the shell but everything absorbed. I helped it out because it's kinda now or never- nobody will be home to wet paper towels today for it.

It's all but butt-out of the shell. Breathing, but not making noise (and not deep breaths, kinda labored like it has been the whole night) so I know that's no good. Can really think of anything else to do.. But i sure did try! I'll just see what it does on it's own while I get ready..

Hope your little one makes it. It looked like in the picture that it was bleeding pretty bad from the internal pip. It may have just lost too much blood. You can try feeding it hard boiled egg yolk to help it gain some strength.

It actually didn't lose any that I saw? That pic does make it look that way though.

It did lose some coming out, but too late now. I just had to try- the paper towel from last night had already dried to the edges of the shell from me sleeping so long; had to wet it to get it off, so I knew it'd nerve work with me wetting it then going to work. :/
