March hatch along

Tonight my kids decided it was their time to set eggs, so they put my turkey eggs I've collected in the bator. I guess I'm going to keep them in this pattern but rotate them. I love it that they enjoy incubating like I do.

Just stopped the turner and put put my eggs into lockdown. There was twenty in there but 1 was definitely a quitter. Poor thing. It had little tiny wings and and all its tiny toes were fully formed. And it had a tiny beak with a big eggtooth on it. It must have quit between day 11 and 12. So I'm left with 19 eggs, two of which I'm not so sure about and 1 that I think is most likely a goner but I kept it in just in case. I saw movement in some of the others though. One even messed me up when I was trying to trace the air cell. I'm hoping for fuzzy butts sometime during Monday....

Well its 2:25...yes a.m and I don't even know how I'm still up but I was so excited for tommorow hatch day and as of now we have 3 pips. Hopefully I'll have some almost hatched by morning=^ =^ =^

Good luck on the hatches going on this weekend, sending good hatching vibes your way from Oklahoma.

I went to bed last night with 24 in one lockdown bator and 40 in another. The other 40 have a couple days to go I believe, But in the 24 there was 9 with external pips woke up last night to check on them and watched 3 zip and harch and this morning I have 10 babies out and 4 more pipped and the others should be pipping soon. Woohoo gonna to a quick baby scoop in a bit and move the 10 babies to a brooder. Add hot water at the same time so far humidity has not been an issue.

Today is hatch day!!! :jumpy
Here's to hoping this will not drag out and keep me in suspense too long!!
I'm trying so hard not to text my neighbor every few mins to ask how it's going.
