How far along are you??I've been without power for 7 hours now... I have blankets wrapped on my bator but haven't looked to see how cool the eggs are yet. Think I'm in some sort of denial about it.

I ve got my fingers crossed for you! Btw how is it that you could not have a power outage for 10 years but the minute you crank up the incubator something always seem to happen. I had a batch of eggs in my incubator when sandy hit ... Had no power for 11 days... Luckily i had a generator and after about 8 hours had enough power to keep things going and saved the chicks!I'm in my 14th day. The power came back on right after I posted. I looked before I left and the eggs were already back up to 82. The recorded low was 68. Think I'm good.
Between the slow start and this I'm not counting on any early birds.
Pls go back and read the link that was posted yesterday afternoon.. It's awesome!! (Re: temp fluctuations/incubation stages). It's a great read and may make you feel better.I'm in my 14th day.
