March hatch along

I'm in my 14th day. The power came back on right after I posted. I looked before I left and the eggs were already back up to 82. The recorded low was 68. Think I'm good.
Between the slow start and this I'm not counting on any early birds.
I ve got my fingers crossed for you! Btw how is it that you could not have a power outage for 10 years but the minute you crank up the incubator something always seem to happen. I had a batch of eggs in my incubator when sandy hit ... Had no power for 11 days... Luckily i had a generator and after about 8 hours had enough power to keep things going and saved the chicks!

Pls go back and read the link that was posted yesterday afternoon.. It's awesome!! (Re: temp fluctuations/incubation stages). It's a great read and may make you feel better.

Good luck! :)

This is my first time. I have a neighbor with a home-made bator, so she's doing it for me. Can't wait to see the little munchkins!

I had actually read that yesterday afternoon. I felt soooo much better when I saw the low was 68. I left right after the power came back on, but when I got home it's back up to temp and seems fine.
I had my days wrong though... I guess it was panic math LOL... I'm actually on day 11. Guess I'll just candle again Sat. evening for my 14 day and see if they are all ok. I guess as long as I don't see much open space other that the air cell I should be good.
And yes Johnderosa, it does seem like we never lose power. This is actually the first time I've personally had that long of an outage during a set. There are people here who haven't had power since Sunday night! We had a bad ice storm and at one point there were close to 10,000 county wide without power, ours lasted through all that and a tree that was too heavy with ice fell this morning and took out probably 3 square miles or more in one wack.
