March hatch along

Guys, something is wrong and I'm about done. Still NOTHING. No silkies have pipped internally. Two AMs and one (not so hot-looking) brahma appear to have, but have made zero progress past that. It makes me sick to think of helping, because I feel like failing at that will make me feel like I shouldn't have.

This sucks. I don't know what to do. I'm mostly sick that my first ever chicken hatch has left this taste in my mouth when I was SO!! Excited. :(

Were they shipped eggs? I'm afraid my first hatch will be the same. Mine are all shipped.

Nope, not shipped. Just from different sources around here. That's what gets me.. Especially with some having been from my own hens, I thought I had it made.

I agree with the helping. I don't mind to help from a zipped state but from square one? I just don't think so. There's a reason they're unable to pip and I don't think it will do them any favors to help.

I have another dozen BCM eggs in a friend's bator. I'll get those back from her, they have two weeks left. Maybe that will go better..

@carcar80 I have had awesome near 100% hatches, and I have had total failure 100% not hatched. I have had broodies sit on eggs and never hatch them, I had to give them chicks finally. If a hen who God designed to be the perfect incubator has failed hatches I don't see why you should beat yourself up for our feeble human attempt at imitating God's perfect design imperfectly.

Thanks guys. :) it does make me feel better hearing these. Just wasn't meant to be, I guess. Not right now anyway. But yes it's kinda easy to take the blame since I was kinda in charge, lol. :p
