March hatch along

It sure has been cold here in hunterdon county this winter!!! I still had a few patches of snow on the ground as of this morning... Ugghh!

I hear ya! All the way from Warren County...same thing- still have a small mountain of ice (where we dumped all the roof snow to....) and little patches in the shady areas... Hi Neighbor!

I have three babies out in the brooder but the action has stopped in the bator. How long do you let them cook before giving up on them?

I have 3 pips but one is in the center of the egg may have to assist I did peek into the aircell end blood cells are still full and pumping so not ready yet

This is baby Georgia
400

I have a question when they first hatch are they supposed to peep a lot like, she rests for like a few seconds then goes again, it's been a few hours still hasn't rested much?

Is she first out? In my experience (w ducks anyway) the first hatched doesn't rest much at all until it's joined by another.

Beautiful baby!!
