March hatch along

So glad to say my smushed eggs and drenched chicks all made it must be fighters. So I ended up with 14 bcm and 13 ee and if I can get pics to download ever will put up.

So lil Georgia is now bleeding from the cord area with some red bulge coming out with a small string ( cord ) I wrapped her in a warm damp cloth much like an egg with her head popping out, I'm really scared will she die??

Glad to hear about so many great hatches!

I just had one hatch today, two are in the bator that I had to pip myself because 4 others were shrink wrapped. Not sure what happened there, I was good and didn't touch them after lockdown. After 24 hours of no action I had decided to candle and I knew right away when the air sacks had doubled in size. So I pipped them all to find that it had to have happened on day 20 or 21. Hoping that the two that are in the bator make it.

I have 42 in the other bator and I am worried about them, my humidity wont hold, it keeps fluctuating. Its the bator with my frizzle Cochin eggs.

One of mine had that (or something like it anyways), he is still going strong and has done very well. The first 24 hours I didn't think he'd make it, but he did! I hope yours will be ok too!

Morning update: one wrong-end pip this morning, took me forever to find it looking thru the window but I knew there was one bc of the piece of shell in the water trough but no visible top-end pips.

Baby sounds fine though, cheeping now and the - no other action but I can hear tons of tapping going on, so I'm trying to convince myself that much noise HAS to be coming from multiple eggs. ;)
