Number 7 is fully zipped... Just waiting for it to push its way out. The other 4 are still quiet... Not a pip out of them.
Number five is out! Number six 4-5 pushes away..

It is amazing... My 7th one zipped completely but the membrane dried out while it was resting and i decided to help it out after waiting about an hour. I took the egg out of the incubator and wet the membrane with some warm water. I was able to free all of the top of the egg except for one side very quickly and could see just how neatly it was packed into the shell while freeing the last section. It wasnt until the last section came free that it was unfold itself. It was cool to watch it happen. It's so amazing how these guys are all folded up & packed tight in there..![]()

No I would say keep it moist like you have been. It looks like many more veins to absorb....I bet it gets more alert as that happens. Just my 2 cents.Okay guys. Here's the final chick.
For those who can't make it out, that's the whole top of the egg I have taken down (most of it I HAD to in order to clear the membrane from the nostrils)..
I'm keeping it covered with a wet PT. Its moving/breathing but not chirping, and did take an itty bitty drop of water when offered.
It still has absorbing to do obviously (or I think?), but I wonder if I should clear some shell from the sides before bed in case it gets ready while I'm asleep?
Thanks!!No I would say keep it moist like you have been. It looks like many more veins to absorb....I bet it gets more alert as that happens. Just my 2 cents.. Good Luck!
keep it moist, don't remove anymore shell, it looks like the inner membrane is still attached.i had one like this when I went to bed, it was hatched in the morning when I woke up but had two pieces of *dried membrane stuck to its fluff.Okay guys. Here's the final chick.
