Thank for all of your help everyone we decided to put her down today. Poor girl was very clearly in distress stopped eating and drinking, laboured breathing and breast bone was protruding. It was time to put her out of her misery as much as it hurt. I still have no clue what happened maybe internal laying, it all happened so fast one day she was fine the next she couldn’t walk! All our other girls seem fine I just hope it wasn’t some kind of sickness that could spread.

What was the big mucousy bulge at the vent? Was it a soft shelled membrane or could it have been a Lash egg?

Get some Extra Calcium into her, be sure she's staying hydrated and eating. You can find Calcium Citrate with D3 in the vitamin aisle of stores like Walmart, CVS, etc. Give 1 tablet daily, just pull down on her wattles, pop the tablet into the beak and let her swallow.

Still no idea what it was but it disappeared within an hour of me finding it. We did give her some extra egg shells to eat. I would’ve tried these things but she got so ill so fast she was too far gone today and I couldn’t bear to keep her alive on that condition anymore. Thank you for the suggestions though I appreciate it
