I have a sick chicken: lethargy, green/white diarrhea, losing weight, lying down and closing her eyes. I wrote a separate post a few days back about a different chicken with similar symptoms. She is doing much better after a round of antibiotics. Poop back to normal.
I noticed this latest sick girl also has one oval pupil. The other is normal. I’ve never really examined her eyes so I don’t know if this is new. My question is: she is five years old. Would it be highly unusual for it to be Marek’s at her age? They were not vaccinated. I also noticed today they are both opening their beaks wide occasionally. Mostly while eating. They are together in quarantine. I’ve got another round of antibiotics coming for the new one. Photos of poop and her eyes are coming later.
