marek disease

Does anyone know where you can go to run a serum antibody test for Merek's disease. I had a sick roo with some of the symptoms but he is ok now...scared to put him back with flock.....none of the others he was with is acting unusual...It has been about two weeks.....Thanks so much..

Hi. You're lucky. If your roo was sick and he got better, it was most likely not Marek's. With Marek's he would have gotten worse, and died. You cannot run a serum or antibody test for Marek's. The only way to know is to do a necropsy at a lab that knows what to look for.
