Was wondering if anyone has info on this as recent research has indicated that the darkling beetles are carriers of many diseases including mareks/fowl pox/new castle and others isnt meal worms and super worms off spring of the darkling beetles????If so why on earth is anyone feeding these to chickens and suggesting others do so also?? I am guilty of feeding these to my birds after being suggested by another and have recently just had abird show what looked like mareks uncertain but just the same if these are capable of spreading all these diseases ill never allow them near my birds again!!PLEASE someone with more experiance chime in as i would love to know if this is true so i can help other before they make the same mistake!!!!!!!
