Is this the correct product that I can put in my poultry amd livestock water as well as activate for sanitary cleaning? Everything I've read says (AH) behind Oxine and this one does not. I want to be 100% I have the correct product and it won't harm my animals unless activated. Thanks

Oxine is safe to use around animals. I've even used activated Oxine as a wound soak for an injured rooster.

But if it's effective against Marek's, I don't know. Marek's being extremely tough and long lived in the environment, I would doubt you can trust that it will kill it all.

This might help.

@igorsMistress
Sorry to tag you but I know you've used Oxine.
I have used activated oxine as a general cleaner in the coop. If it’s for Marek’s Virkon S specifically kills that on surfaces. It can live in the soil and there’s nothing that will resolve but time. It can live for months or years, but I read a paper on it that said roughly six months if exposed to the elements. I’m sorry I can’t find that resource quickly, I lost that bookmark somehow.

I change up what I use in my coop year to year, activated oxine one year, Virkon S the next. Both are safe around the animals.
