Finally came to the conclusion one of our hens does not have a worm issue but has Marek's disease.

I had to dispatch her this morning.

Question now ... Is it too late to vaccinate the other pullets and hens ( they range in age from 6 months to a couple years) or is it a lost cause?

Thanks ...

Are they showing symptoms? I am waiting for blood work on mine to determine if it is why my roo is limping. My vet said I could vaccinate my girls if they don't test positive. I have read that the vaccine could help prevent paralysis.

How would I get the Marek's vaccine? I just purchased some pullets from a local breeder...not sure if they were vaccinated - would it hurt to get the vaccine a second time in the event they already received the vaccine?
