Mareks or wry neck new thread please help

With the chicken still alive Marek's can only be diagnosed by excluding all those diseases to which some or all of the symptoms correspond.

So the thing to do is trying to exclude step by step everything that might correspond.

Ok well her pupils are responsive, she doesn’t have raised skin, she is underweight, her wings and legs work.

could a chick get mareks with out the parent or someone in the flock having it?

I don’t care what it is I just hope it’s not mareks cause that means all the other babies would have it. Come to think of it one of my 4 week Orpingtons that came from the same breeder was suffering from vitamin deficiency about a week after I got her. She is wonderful now.

I would de-worm them all before adding the vitamins supplements so they will not be absorbed by the worms and thus be useless for the chicks wellbeing.

Will do. I have de worming meds that I have given her since Saturday. I sent fecals in to two vets and no call back on either

You have a few threads goung about the same pullet. I think you have been given good advice on your threads. Wry neck is a neurological symptom, and it may take time to get over. I would try to be patient for a few weeks. She has been a part of the flock up to now, and I would try to let her be with the flock some, possibly by keeping her dog crate in the coop with the others.
