I weighed my biggest silkie hen that survived the trip here(When we Moved), & she's exactly 5lbs. No pictures due to my storage space.

My big Silkie Rooster Scaredy has got himself a frostbitten middle toe, but there's not really much I can do about it right now. Also I think he's starting to feel his age now too.
So I think I'll give him some tart cherry, & a half of baby aspirin tomorrow, to perk him up abit. At least were over the extreme temperature drop now, & on a slow but steady rise in temperature now which will make the birds happy.

Got some not so good news. Scaredy my big old Chinese Silkie Rooster has got himself frozen feet somehow, so there's not much I can do about that, except keep him as comfortable as possible, plump him up abit, & use him for soup.
He was gonna be kept as a pet after being retired from breeding, but unfortunately weather hasn't been the nicest to the birds this year. He was gonna be used for breeding a few more times, & I guess it's not gonna happen.
