4 week Cochin have been dealing and treating for wry neck for 5 days now. She only gets her head stuck down... almost like it’s a tick. She is a hungry and happy bird who wants to always fly. Any idea. If it’s mareks all of them have it. I got 4 birds from a hatchery who has no prior of mareks and I have 3 existing 2 year olds with no mareks. Someone please help.
The first day she almost looked dead and wouldn’t move her neck like it was stuck. And now can move it everywhere but sometimes gets stuck to her chest.

No, that does not look like wry neck to me. Also I've not heard of this happening with Mareks. It looks like an odd neurological issue to me. She may grow out of it. She may not. She's eating and looking well otherwise! Maybe someone smart will know exactly what this is. Good Luck! :hugs

i hope so. I don’t understand it

Maybe this is caused by the pin feathers on the neck piercing through her skin?

I would de-worm her and add some vitamins containing B complex, D3 and E to her drinking water.

She is taking antibiotics and took 2 vitamin e pills today with egg. Do you think it’s mareks.... I really hope not. My parents seem to think it’s neurological

This does not look like Marek's to me.

Why is she taking antibiotics and which kind?

Looks as if she is in need of a good boost of vitamin B complex as well, looking somewhat nervous and disoriented while fidgeting and preening.

Did you inspect her closely for lice and mites?
They put her on it for anything intestinal. We went to the vet... I know.... for a chicken. I don’t see anything crawling on her.... I would think the vet would possible see something too. They aloe o treated her for meningitis and inner ear infection.... cause they don’t know what is going on. SO at that point after administering all of it they said wellll it could be mareks. Like what. She has had 0 contact with anyone with mareks
