We got 6 new chicks from a backyard breeder. NIGHTMERE! Fast forward a few weeks and we have finally gotten them better from lice and cocci. We uploaded photos for gender since they are 6-8 weeks and got Mareks concerns. Only 2 of 6 show eye symptoms. I'm worried, scared and not sure what to do. Our goal was to eventually introduce these 6 to our current mixed flock of 10. Its not realistic for us to have 2 separate flocks or coops as we want to free range these with the existing hens. Also, another scary side note, we just combined these 6 with our 3 EE chicks(same age) 2 days ago, post quartentine period now that all was thought to be better...

The eyes definitely could be from ocular Mareks. Do the two birds have the same problem in both of their eyes? Could you post one picture of each eye in both birds? Sometimes we see pics of color bleeding, and coloboma which is a keyhole shaped pupil. Do the birds seem blind in the affected eyes?

One a good note, some people have the ocular form of Mareks in their flock without the other symptoms. Have you shown the pictures or talked to the breeder?
