Started with an early moult, treatment for parasites-dust, spray, drops, wormer in water. After a particular spray she seemed to worsen, she seemed traumatised. Her skin turned yellow from the spray. Bumps on her feather follicles, turned black. They seemed like egg clusters but I read of something similar in mareks. I treated her face for fungus. She lost weight. I never saw any parasites and I treated their living quarters. At this time I came on here and her blue eye was noticed. Her pupil is misshapen. I have to contact the small breeder I purchased her from as I’m sure I remember his pointing out the blue eye. Since then her feathers grew back, her aversion to food abated although her connection with food has declined recently. I feed her dog meat. I’d also bought them into the house as the hen house was ragged when I noticed scaly leg which I’ve been treating for 3 months with olive oil, Vaseline, warm chlorahexadrine soaks, they are greatly improved. As I was handling her a lot I noticed a dead, translucent, skin over her head. Treated with olive oil it peeled away and her comb filled out. Her head is now partially bald from coming away with the skin. She’s active. Briefly aggressive to her sister. Still doesn’t connect to food normally although she does eat. Is nervous and enjoys being stroked in my lap.
