I lost one before about 3 weeks ago. Another Buff had it's neck bent way back over it's body and seemed off balance. I would have thought I would have lost more birds since then. This one seems as if it's falling a sleep, looses balance when standing/walking,and it's head seems to go from it's right to left alot. All most like it can't control it.

The chick does look sick/lethargic. Closing the eyes and not standing. I would not rule out Mereks from that video evidence but I saw no indication of shaking or trembling ect that would make me think it was.

Sometimes they bounce back after a few days sometimes of being sick they don't. I think I would look after her for a few days. Maybe put her by herself so that she doesn't get others sick or get picked on.

I really am not an expert but am trying to help. I have had to cull a chick with Mereks so I can speak with a little bit of experience. Let's hope she gets over it quick.

I have her on a broad spectrum antibiotic, electrolyte, and Vitamins. She is in my side pen by her self and warm and dry. I'll treat her for a few days to see if she gets better.
Thanks for your post!
