So i did a thang today in the ghetto.
This is the cover we built for the big tank for winter.
It needs replacing but still had some life.
I decided to put it in the ghetto. Filled the underneath with compost and soil and planted wheat seed so the dux can eat the sprouts when they come up.

How do you manage to dump all of your water containers to clean them out without making a soupy mess? That is my problem in my pen. I dump the water and it goes everywhere and then they make a mud pit out of where the water is kept. I love your setup. My pen is also made up of dog pen panels and it works well for me too.

It does make a mess. Usually they have a lot of the water splashed out already. I just dump enough off the top to where i can pick up the tub with the rest of the sludge in it and dump it outside the run.
They have a nice building besides the dog panels, that part is just an extention so they have more space to spread out. That's why i call that part the ghetto. Cause it looks ghetto compared to the palace part.
The dux don't give a darn what anything looks like though.

There's a little door in the back of the house i can close for when i need to seperate drakes or whatnot.

I didn't have my phone when I went out to feed, but 2 of the ducklings were swimming in the pool! They've grown so much already....I can't wait til I can get them moved!
