I also drain my hose at night and bring it into the garage - it's such a hassle. I can't really complain because we only have a few weeks below freezing but I did just get back from pulling all the ice out of the duck pond and refilling it, so....I love running water!

I have running water despite being below freezing. We have a frost free hydrant and I drain all the hoses after use.

I do the same and we just put a brand new frost free spigot on the house and it was still froze this morning at 20 degrees F. Carrying water to the ducks is no fun in the cold. It will warm back up next week so it should thaw. You are very fortunate.

Are those Call Duck eggs? They look small so I wasn't sure. How eggciting!!! Nothing more fun than hatching out those babies I think.

They have! They started right after I started them on goat feed!

I never even knew they could eat goat feed. Does it have niacin in it or do you have to add it to it?
