Mario has ladies at last! AND a pretty male guinea fowl too!

The two girls and guinea fowl arrived this afternoon! They are all in the pen and getting along (fingers crossed...)

One is a silver wyanadotte and the other is a cute little brown and red creature with no comb or wattle... Don't know what breed she is.

The guinea we took because he was in love with the female turkey and was harrasing the (HUGE) tom to no end. So in order to allow the tom and his girls to live free instead of cooped up we adopted the guinea.... We'll se how it goes.

as of this morning all are getting along fine! The little ladies have settled in and Mario is his usual boisterous self! The guinea performed his "watch bird" duties admirably by chasing off a nosy cat this morning! Maybe a little *too* well, as it was barely 6am.... Hubby was decidedly unimpressed.
